Rock to Rock 2021 - Creating a Safe, Impactful Earth Day Event April 24th.
We're excited to share that Rock to Rock is moving ahead for this spring. We are already working with 25 partner organizations to take real action in response to the climate emergency, and raise critical support for local environmental organizations -- while respecting public health guidance.
Rock to Rock will look different this year, to keep our riders and whole community safe and healthy.
Register today and sign up to ride the metric century (60 miles), 20-mile, East Rock base-to-summit ride, 2-mile family ride, or hike around the base of East Rock or up to the top of West Rock. You choose your adventure! All rides will have staggered starts for small groups. Once you register you'll get a link to sign up for a specific ride/hike time slot.
All options will help people explore local natural beauty, build community, have fun, and support environmental/climate projects. Rock to Rock will offer a range of ride, walk, service opportunities to allow people to safely participate in a way that is comfortable and exciting for them.
And, because they need our support for their critical work, fundraising for our Rock to Rock partners will move full speed ahead.
Many of our partners are stepping up in new ways to keep our community healthy and strong: Delivering local, fresh food to neighbors who are stuck at home. Moving their educational programs online to reach kids where they are. Providing support to our most vulnerable neighbors. And all of them are continuing to step up to face the slower-moving climate emergency that's still in the background and to work in a hundred different ways to make our community greener, healthier, more welcoming, and more connected.
New Website! New Registration Process
To limit costs and direct more resources to environmental work we have a new website, and Riders will now be registering on this site and be invited to set up their donation page through each organization's GiveGreater pages. We will give clear directions on how to do that soon.
